I am writing to express my gratitude for Lily, a recently excellent and uniquely addition to the Barclay team. It is often difficult to come by individuals who are compassionate as they are competent, though Lily has checked every box on my list with such ease. Throughout my experience with the Barclay team, she has by far been impressively attentive, accommodating and willing to help. Employees such as her are deserving of the appropriate recognition and I hope this note can bring attention to her excellent professionalism and work ethic.

My husband and I moved here with baby from the East Coast for fellowships at UW and basically rented an apartment in this building we hadn't seen. The leasing office helped with a lot of pictures, measurements, etc. and were very helpful remotely, however. I briefly toured this building (along with maybe 10 others) when I was in town, 7 months pregnant, for a job interview months earlier.
We chose Barlcay Broadway based on location, primarily, as well as amenities and newer apartments. We are so glad we ended up living here! The building is clean, super well maintained (Eric literally responds in real time it seems if there are issues). There's a lovely rooftop with grills and fire pit we used often, and a basic gym in the building. For anyone working at Harborview, Swedish, etc. this building is perfect. The commute is 5 minutes by foot to hospitals, and if you need to get to VA or UWMC you can get to both in 20-30 minutes by bus or link, or half that by car. There's a streetcar and several bus lines outside the door. Seriously, couldn't be easier.
Yes, there is no air conditioning but about 85% of Seattle doesn't have that either and it's generally fine most days. I've never had major issues overnight if you keep windows closed and blinds drawn during day, and open up at night. We were on upper floor facing street, and I could hear street car bells (which I liked, actually!) but husband didn't like sleeping with windows open because of occasional noise from street. Overall, not too many college students and the nonsense that can entail. Mostly young professionals who are friendly and respectful and a very on-top-of-their-!#%! front desk. Overall, highly recommend!
I toured with Lily a few months ago but decided to apply somewhere else, she remembered I was shopping for specials and called me yesterday informing me on Barclay Broadways new specials!
I have some friends that live in this building and I’m so jealous! Super nice apartments and the staff is always so nice! Nick was able to recommend an Indian place that was right down the street and it was delicious! Thanks nick!!
